Bamboo mouth zithers of Mindanao

Kubing is Philippine's bamboo mouth zither and is usually found in communities south of the country like the island of Mindanao. Since the 1990's when i was still in the university, i had been fascinated by the sound of this unique instrument, very handy too, you can even tuck it on your shirt,s upper pocket and show it to the ladies. In fact kubing is used as an instrument to send your romantic intentions. Anyway, what i've got are versions coming from various parts of the country and varies with its sizes and design. Since then, kubing has become a staple sound of my film music productions.
